A Great Time Had By ALL

We had another free day for wounded soldiers back from Iraq and Afghanistan, and it worked out even better than before.   Not everyone gets to enjoy a wave flight on their first glider ride, but all of these folks did (plus good food and even better conversation).

Thanks For Their Service – And Sacrifice

Our next free day for soldiers wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan is coming this Thursday, Nov 3.   This event has been a wonderful success in the past, for everyone involved.   If you’d like to volunteer let us know soon.

New Addition To Our FLEET

This week, we’ll  unveil the world’s newest Schweizer 2-32.   (For newcomers to soaring, that’s the only sailplane capable of carrying three people.)   After thirty years in a hangar this beauty has logged less than 200 hours, but we’ll change that right away!

We’re hosting another ‘funtest’ this Sunday.   It’s uncertain just what form the competition will take this time, based on weather conditions, but the important thing is the barbecue (because there everybody wins)!   If you plan to come let us know, and feel free to bring something tasty for later.
