Well, we’ve reached the autumnal equinox, with days and nights of equal length. Tall thermals will give way to more frequent WAVE (good chance of that this coming weekend, in fact), and cooler temps will be welcome out on the flight line.
Our first honoree for the week is Ben Marcus, who passed his commercial glider checkride this week less than a month after his first lesson! (Now if he can soar that fast, he’ll be champion soon…)
