Making Lemonaide

The soaring weather lately has been nothing like normal for this time of year - but the soaring has still been plenty interesting, educational and fun.   Swiss pilot Franz Meier was here for the whole week expecting thermals, and all we got was west wind, stronger and colder every day.   Even so, after his last flight (on what SOCAL pilots might call the 'worst' day of the period) three hours of dancing on the mountaintops had him declaring it was the best flight of his life.That's Crystal for you!
