CURRENT SOARING FORECAST FOR SCSA (CRYSTALAIRE - 46CN) APRIL 29 to MAY 2, 2011 Low pressure to our north will bring in cool west winds a bit gusty on Friday. A dramatic change Saturday onwards indicates high pressure will build in above our area with warm temps increasing to a peak on Monday. Expect warm North to Northeast winds Saturday through the end of the period and at times gusty.The thermal updraft and height of thermals forecasts for the period look good despite the indicated breezy conditions. Thermals will likely not be circular and will probably "lean" downwind.
