Please wear a soft hat and sunglasses. If you bring a camera, be sure that it has a wrist or neck strap so that you can hold on to it.

 

WEATHER NOTE: We are usually still flying even when it is raining or foggy in the L.A. basin. Our location offers great year round soaring. We will call you in the morning of your ride if we are NOT going to be able to fly due to weather.

1 PASSENGER RIDES

 

20 Minutes

2,500’ tow, 20 minutes (approximately), $109

If you want to just get a taste of soaring, this is the ride for you.  You will be towed to 2,500 feet above the valley floor, where you will release from the tow plane and gently glide back to earth. 

 

30 Minute

3,500’ tow, 30 minutes (approximately), $149

At 30 minutes, you have time to take in the scenery, try out the controls, and, should you choose, have your pilot perform a few maneuvers.

 

45 Minute

5,280’ tow, 45 minutes (approximately), $199

At 45 minutes, this is our longest ride.  You will be towed to an altitude of one mile above the valley floor, or 8,700 feet above sea level, where you will have a bird’s eye view of the rugged San Gabriel Mountains. 

 

Introductory Lesson

Thinking of becoming a pilot? Then this is for you. A professional FAA certified commercial pilot will guide you through this introductory lesson so you can see and feel what becoming a soaring pilot is all about. Lesson includes an introduction to aerodynamics, a "few rules of the road"and a chance to control the aircraft. Includes everything you need to experience what it will take to get you on the way to being a soaring pilot.

2 PASSENGER RIDES (Price all inclusive for 2 people)

 

20 Minutes

2,500' tow, 20 minutes (approximately),

5,280' tow, 45 minutes (approximately),
