Valley Tour

2,500’ tow, 20 minutes (approximately), $109

If you want to just get a taste of soaring, to see if you enjoy it, this is the ride for you.  You will be towed to 2,500 feet above the valley floor, where you will release from the tow plane and gently glide back to earth.  If you like, your ride pilot can briefly let you take the controls to give you a feel for how the glider handles.  (The aerobatic option is not available for this ride.)

Silver Eagle

3,500’ tow, 30 minutes (approximately), $149

This is our most popular ride.  At 30 minutes, you have time to take in the scenery, try out the controls, and , should you choose, have your pilot perform a few aerobatic maneuvers.

Mile High

5,280’ tow, 45 minutes (approximately), $199

At 45 minutes, this is our longest ride.  You will be towed to an altitude of one mile above the valley floor, or 8,700 feet above sea level, where you will have a bird’s eye view of the rugged San Gabriel Mountains.  You will have plenty of time to have your pilot perform aerobatics, or teach you the basics of controlling the glider, or a little of both, all the while taking in the beautiful scenery.

Enjoy the serenity and beauty of the Antelope Valley and San Gabriel Mountain Range from a new perspective.  Your pilot will perform gentle turns as you take in the magnificent views.

Introductory LessonIntroductory Lesson

If you think you may be interested in learning to fly gliders, you can have your ride pilot explain the basic controls, and how they are used to maneuver the glider.  Once off of tow, you will be allowed to practice adjusting and maintaining the airspeed, and performing turns, under the guidance of your pilot.

Aerobatic RideAerobatic

If you are more adventurous, you can choose the aerobatic option.  Your pilot will put the glider through loops, rolls, and even inverted flight!  This ride is certain to get your heart pounding! (Performing aerobatics will decrease the total flight time.  This option is not available on the Valley Tour ride.)
